How does Savvy Travels Co. work?
Contact us and we’ll send you a brief questionnaire and fix a time for your free consultation call. Then we can chat about how you like to travel, your budget and where you’d like to go. If you haven’t decided yet we can also help you pick a destination. Then you choose from one of two options:
- We can create a customised itinerary for you and send you the links so you can book yourself
- We can take care of both the planning and booking
Is it really customised?
It sure is. Everyone has different interests, preferences and budgets so we aim to create an itinerary that best suits your wants and needs.
Can I trust the recommendations?
Absolutely! Most of our recommendations are either tried and tested by us or strongly suggested by locals we know and trust.
How much does it cost?
Savvy Travels Co. offers two packages. “Carry-on” costs US$25/day and includes a personalised travel itinerary with links to all flights, accommodation and activities where possible, as well as restaurant recommendations. Our “Check-in” plan is the full personalised itinerary plus all the bookings (where possible) and restaurant recommendations. It costs US$25/day for the itinerary plus 5% of the total costs of the bookings.
How does payment work?
We ask clients to pay the cost of the itinerary upfront. This covers the time spent researching and planning your personalised itinerary.
If you choose our “Check-in” plan there are two payment options for the booking process. 1) Provide us with your credit card details and we will proceed with booking the agreed upon itinerary. 2) Don’t feel comfortable handing over your credit card details? No problem. You can also transfer the cost of the trip into our account (either in full or in instalments) and we will proceed with bookings once we receive the funds. Your bookings will then be given to you once we receive our final fee.
*Please not that while we try to lock in the best prices, flights and some accommodation have the tendency to fluctuate and may vary. We will always check with you first if prices change greatly.
Are prices fixed?
While we do our best to lock in and provide you with the best prices, flights and some accommodation prices tend to fluctuate. We do our best to avoid major price fluctuations.
What if I want to plan part of the trip myself?
Sure! Savvy Travels Co. will only charge you for the days we plan, even if they are non-consecutive.

Great! So you’ve already taken the first step and locked in your dates and flights. Let us fill in the rest.
How long does it take?
Upon receiving payment, we will have your personalised itinerary ready for you in 7-10 business days.
If you’re planning a last-minute trip (departing within the next 3-4 days) you’ll be charged a US$150 rush fee. If we can’t make the deadline on such short notice, we will issue a full refund.
Can I request a different destination?
Of course! We’re always looking to expand our horizons. While we specialise in Europe and Australia, we have no limits. Email us and let us know where you’d like to go and we’ll tell you if we can help.
